Dan Beckett

General Manager, Cybersecurity & Identity Practice

Dan Beckett is General Manager of the Cybersecurity and Identity Practice at Solliance, where he leads security modernization initiatives that help organizations strengthen their resilience, modernize identity platforms, and embed security into the core of their engineering and business operations. With more than 30 years of experience spanning cybersecurity architecture, identity and access management, privacy, risk management, and SecDevOps, Dan advises organizations on how to build security capabilities that move beyond compliance to become strategic enablers of digital transformation.

 

At Solliance, Dan leads complex security programs that help clients design and implement modern identity architectures, secure application platforms, and enterprise security governance models. The practice supports organizations across Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Higher Education, and Technology—delivering security architecture, identity modernization, risk and compliance frameworks, and secure software development practices that strengthen operational resilience.

 

A recognized authority in cybersecurity and identity, Dan has authored security methodologies, white papers, and industry guidance used by Solliance clients to drive consistent and repeatable delivery across security programs. He has also designed tools and delivery accelerators that enhance Solliance’s security offerings and enable teams to execute complex engagements with greater speed and confidence. His innovation includes a patented passwordless authentication method (U.S. Patent 11,468,151 B2), reflecting his hands-on contributions to advancing modern identity security.

 

Dan’s background spans application development, systems integration, security operations, policy and program development, and executive advisory—allowing him to bridge deep technical implementation with strategic leadership. In addition to his client work, he contributes to industry education and talent development. He previously served as an adjunct professor at Michigan State University, where he developed and taught the university’s first security architecture curriculum.
