Ike Ellis

General Manager, Data & AI Practice

Ike Ellis is General Manager of the Data & AI Practice at Solliance, where he helps organizations design modern data platforms and operationalize artificial intelligence to drive measurable business outcomes. With extensive experience architecting enterprise data solutions, Ike works with executive and engineering teams to transform fragmented data environments into scalable platforms that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and intelligent applications.

 

At Solliance, Ike leads initiatives that help organizations modernize their data architecture, build cloud-native data platforms, and implement advanced analytics and AI capabilities. The practice partners with clients to establish modern data engineering pipelines, enable self-service analytics, and integrate AI-driven insights into business operations—allowing organizations to move from data collection to actionable intelligence.

 

Ike has designed and implemented data solutions for many well-known organizations and is widely recognized in the data community. He was a Microsoft Data Platform MVP from 2011–2023 and is currently a Databricks MVP. He co-authored Developing Azure Solutions, now in its second edition, and contributed to the Power BI MVP Book.

 

A frequent speaker at industry conferences including SQLBits, PASS Summit, and SQL in the City, Ike is also deeply involved in community leadership. He organizes and leads several technology communities including the San Diego Power BI and Fabric User Group, the San Diego Databricks User Group, and the San Diego Data Engineering Meetup, and serves as co-chair of the San Diego Software Architecture Group.
