Principle Data & AI Architect

Scott Reed is a Distinguished Engineer at Solliance specializing in enterprise software engineering, cloud architecture, and modern delivery practices. He works with engineering teams to design scalable application platforms, improve delivery pipelines, and help organizations move complex initiatives from concept to production with speed, quality, and reliability.

 

With more than three decades of experience in enterprise software development, Scott began his career at IBM in 1993 and has delivered solutions for organizations including Microsoft and Cardinal Health. He brings deep expertise in Microsoft development platforms, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices, and has trained organizations worldwide since 2006. Through Crafting Bytes, the consulting firm he founded in 2014, Scott has built and guided high-performing engineering teams focused on pragmatic architecture, efficient delivery, and real-world business outcomes.

 

At Solliance, Scott provides hands-on technical leadership across software engineering, data engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps modernization initiatives. He also contributes to the broader technology community through speaking and thought leadership, regularly presenting at conferences and user groups on software engineering and AI engineering topics. Scott serves as Chair of the Software Architecture User Group in San Diego, further strengthening Solliance’s presence and influence within the global architecture and engineering community.
